Wavy Planter - Large

This large planter is hand-thrown from terracotta clay by artisans at Meso Goods in Sabanagrande, Honduras. Each piece is made to order, so expect minor variation in size and glaze tone — that is a feature of hand work, not a defect. Measures approximately 11" W × 11" D × 11" H. No drainage hole; a plastic nursery pot is required inside.

Terracotta is an unglazed or lightly glazed fired clay that will outlast most manufactured planters if kept from hard freezes. When you are done with it, broken terracotta can go into a garden bed as drainage grit or in with yard waste — it will not break down quickly, but it is inert. Packaging details are not disclosed by the vendor, so ask before ordering if that matters to you.
