Tie Dye Cotton Placemat - Brown (Set of 4)

Four placemats, each roughly 19" x 14", hand-dyed and handcrafted in Bangladesh by artisans working under Fair Trade certified conditions. The material is 100% cotton. Because each piece is tied and dyed by hand, the brown-and-white pattern will vary slightly between mats — that variation is the point, not a defect.

Care is simple: wipe with a damp cloth and let air dry. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight, as the dye will fade. Packaging details are not disclosed by the supplier — worth asking before purchase if that matters to you. At end of life, cotton placemats can be composted in a home compost pile if uncontaminated by synthetic finishes; otherwise they belong in textile recycling or the landfill bin.
