Zambeezi's Sweet Basil bar is made in Zambia from saponified sunflower oil, saponified palm kernel oil, organic beeswax, sweet basil essential oil, moringa leaf powder, and distilled water — a short ingredient list with nothing unnamed. The sunflower oil and beeswax provide a softening base; the palm kernel oil produces a dense lather. The basil and moringa are locally sourced within Zambia, which shortens the supply chain for those two inputs, though palm kernel oil carries well-documented land-use concerns worth knowing.
