Zambeezi's spearmint bar is made in Zambia from saponified sunflower oil, saponified palm kernel oil, organic beeswax, spearmint essential oil, moringa leaf powder, and distilled water — the full ingredient list, nothing hidden. The beeswax and sunflower oil base produces a firm, skin-softening lather; the spearmint oil is locally sourced within Zambia. This is a conventional cold-process soap, not a detergent bar.
Honest trade-offs: palm kernel oil is a common lather builder, but palm derivatives carry supply-chain concerns the brand does not currently address with certification. The bar arrives in minimal paper packaging. At end of life, a used-up soap bar washes away as wastewater — nothing to compost or recycle. What you're buying is a straightforwardly formulated soap made by a Zambian company with disclosed ingredients and a regional sourcing story for its oils.
