The SOAI bowl is shaped after a mango — asymmetrical, with a low spout side that makes it practical for bread, salad, fruit, or a hot dish (rated food-safe up to 158°F). It is made from bamboo fiber and finished with a solvent-free lacquer that contains no volatile organic compounds. Handmade in Vietnam by Bibol under fair trade principles, slight variations in color and shape are expected and inherent to the process.
Hand-wash only with hot water and dish soap; wipe dry immediately and do not soak, air-dry, microwave, or dishwash. Available in small (Ø26 cm) and large (Ø32 cm), in 15 colors. Packaging details are not disclosed by the vendor. At end of life, the bamboo fiber composite is not compostable at home; check local industrial composting acceptance or dispose in general waste.
