Laundry Soap Concentrate Refill

This concentrate is built around saponified olive oil (potassium olivate), sodium carbonate, sodium borate, water, and — depending on the scent you choose — pure lavender or lemon essential oil, or nothing at all. Full ingredient list is printed on the label. The formula is SLS-free, dye-free, and phthalate-free; those absences are verifiable by the ingredient disclosure, not by a marketing claim. One 16-oz bottle dilutes into 64 oz of ready-to-use laundry soap — up to 128 loads in a high-efficiency machine. The bottle is LDPE plastic, which is accepted for recycling in many — but not all — curbside programs; check with your local hauler before assuming it goes in the bin. Refilling an existing jug means less packaging overall, which is the honest trade-off here. The formula will separate before dilution; that is expected and not a sign of spoilage.

To use: pour the full 16 oz into a 64-oz container, add 48 oz of warm water, and shake. For HE machines, adding diluted soap directly to the drum often works better than the dispenser. End of life for the LDPE bottle: rinse, check local recycling rules, and dispose accordingly.
