Hello Sunshine laundry powder is made from sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, Epsom salt, saponified organic coconut oil, tapioca starch, and a blend of grapefruit, geranium, and lime essential oils — no synthetic fragrances, brighteners, or dyes. Each batch is handcrafted in Austin, Texas. One 17 oz bag covers up to 50 loads.

The powder comes in a kraft stand-up pouch. Kraft paper pouches with plastic laminate liners — which is common for this format — are not accepted in most curbside programs; check your local facility before assuming it can be recycled. The ingredients themselves will dilute harmlessly in wastewater, though the coconut oil saponification process is worth noting if you are on a septic system.
