The Kata Basket is handwoven from braided jute fiber by Fair Trade–certified artisans in Bangladesh. Jute is a fast-growing plant crop that requires little irrigation, which is part of why it's a practical choice for woven goods — though it does shed fine fibers over time and doesn't love moisture or direct sunlight. Slight variation in shape, color, and size is expected with any hand-crafted piece.

Available in three sizes (S: 10" × 8", M: 11" × 10", L: 12" × 12"). Works as a planter sleeve, blanket storage, or catch-all. Packaged by KORISSA — packaging materials not disclosed by vendor. At end of life, the jute basket can be home-composted; check local guidelines, as breakdown time varies with conditions. Wipe with a damp cloth to clean; avoid soaking.
