Kata Basket with handle - Natural

The Kata Basket is woven from braided jute fiber by Fair Trade–certified artisans in Bangladesh. Jute is a fast-growing crop that requires little irrigation, though it is not inherently problem-free: global shipping adds carbon, and no packaging details have been disclosed by the supplier. Because each piece is handcrafted, expect small variations in size, color, and weave.

Available in two sizes — approximately 14.5" tall × 14.5" round (L) or 12" tall × 12" round (S). When the basket reaches the end of its useful life, jute fiber will break down in a home compost pile given moisture and time, though a leather or synthetic handle, if present, would need to be removed first. Dust or vacuum regularly; wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Keep out of direct sunlight to slow fading.
