Drama Beach / Bath Towel

Woven on traditional semi-automatic looms in Antakya (Antioch), Turkey by Eastern Woven, these flat-woven towels are made from a cotton-linen blend. The weave structure is what gives them their reputation for getting softer and more absorbent over repeated washes — no chemical finish doing that work.

At 37 x 73 inches, the format works beyond the bathroom: beach wrap, picnic blanket, tablecloth, lightweight shawl. More uses per item is a straightforward way to buy less. Trade-off: flat-woven towels are thinner than terry cloth, so if you want a plush, hotel-thick feel, this is not that. End of life: the cotton-linen construction can be composted if the fabric is cut into small pieces and free of synthetic trims; check buttons or labels before composting. Shipped in minimal packaging.
