Bono Basket - Natural

The Bono Basket is woven from thick braided natural jute fiber — a fast-growing crop that requires little water and no synthetic inputs — and handmade by Fair Trade certified artisans in Bangladesh. Because it is handcrafted, expect small variations in size, color, and weave pattern between pieces. Available in two sizes: approximately 11" tall × 16" round (M) or 10" tall × 13" round (S).

At end of life, jute fiber can be composted in a home or municipal bin; remove any non-jute trim before adding it to the pile. One honest trade-off: jute is not waterproof and will weaken with prolonged moisture exposure, so keep this to dry storage only. Packaging details have not been disclosed by the vendor — we have asked and will update this page when we hear back.
