## Description

Each bowl is carved and sanded from a whole coconut shell — the shell that remains after the coconut meat and water are used in food production. The finish is coconut oil, nothing else. No glues, lacquers, or synthetic coatings. Because every shell is different, dimensions vary: roughly 12–14 cm across and 6–7 cm deep, holding approximately 500–700 ml. Country of manufacture is not disclosed by the vendor; we've asked and will update this when we hear back.Hand wash with mild soap, dry immediately, and rub with a little coconut oil occasionally to prevent cracking. Keep it out of the dishwasher, microwave, and freezer. At end of life, the shell itself will break down in a home compost pile, though the timeline depends on conditions.
